FOURFEET.guide is a carefully curated guide to pet life in the Algarve. Built by people who live here, for every animal in the family.
We verify businesses, rescues and services as genuine using trusted research sources, but verification is not a recommendation. Community ratings come from public reviews and shared experiences, giving each listing its score. Reviewers sign in so every rating is accountable and traceable. All reviews are moderated to keep feedback fair, honest and helpful.
Listings are added and checked independently, without paid influence or preferential treatment. Ratings reflect genuine community experiences rather than advertising or sponsorship. We keep verification and recommendations separate so trust stays clear. Our goal is to provide reliable information without bias.
We support life with many kinds of animals, not only cats and dogs. Listings include services for horses, rabbits, birds, reptiles and more. Every species matters equally in how we gather, verify and present information. The platform is built to reflect the real diversity of pets across the Algarve.
Information is designed to be genuinely useful in everyday situations. Directions, opening hours, seasonal rules and service details are easy to act on wherever you are. Listings show clear statuses so you know exactly what’s verified and what’s community‑reported. Everything is built to help you make decisions quickly and confidently.
FOURFEET.guide
Helping you navigate the everyday realities of living with animals here.
Part of the FOURFEET family
FOURFEET In Heaven is our memorial companion project, holding space for the animals we have loved and lost.
Vets move, cafés change their rules, beaches change season. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will re-verify; or add a business you think belongs.
