Alvor Boardwalk & Estuary Walk

The Alvor Boardwalk and Estuary Trail is an approximately 5 km walking route through the dunes, salt marshes, mudflats and lagoon of the Alvor estuary. The boardwalk sections are generally flat and provide views of the protected coastal landscape and birdlife. The route is accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs in sections. Access for dogs should be checked against current local restrictions before visiting, as it could be seasonal.
